Indoor Sessions Finished (for now), Outdoor Season Starts

Yesterday marked the last indoor session of our first (trial) run. Thank you for all those who made it happen – organizers, athletes, parents, and facilitators. We have taken a lot of feedback and will make our next run better. Follow ASCNWT‘s feeds to stay tuned!

That being said, we outdoor option has started. During the summer months we will have weekly archery practices on Tuesday evenings between 7-9PM at the Yellowknife Shooting Club. Check the calendar or contact the archery section if you have any questions.

Have fun and keep on practicing!

Thank you for the Recognition!

Thank you Archery Canada and Archery NT for this amazing tweet/post! It has been a hugely rewarding journey to shoot and learn alongside my archery friends and I would not have made it this far without your help and support.

A special shout-out goes to Aboriginal Sports Circle and the Yellowknife Shooting Club for continuing to provide the opportunities and the venue for everyone to grow and to enjoy the sport! If you live in the NT and are interested in archery be sure to check them out and consider supporting them by becoming a member.

Custom builds, incoming stock

Thank you for all the visitors and interest! We have just started and our online catalog isn’t that great… but if you are looking for something in particular, or just started archery and only have a vague idea of what you may be interested in, please drop me a line! I am currently working on custom recurve builds for local archers and would love to setup something that works for you.

I got a shipment of arrows and tabs coming in. Keep an eye on the catalog if that’s something you may need.

Arctic Winter Games 2023

Start practicing! The next Arctic Winter Games will be hosted at Wood Buffalo from January 29 to February 4, 2023. Please note that these are rescheduled dates.

Keep an eye on the official AWG archery page and the event’s Facebook page. If you are unfamiliar with the rules of AWG archery be sure to scroll through the technical package below. Barring any major changes in the sport the 2023 event should be a very similar format as the planned 2020 event.
